SAPAN Presents: EK Din (A Day)
Watch our latest production Ek Din (A Day) from the 2023 Intersections Festival
What can happen in a day? Ek Din (A Day) explores the moments of a day through music, dance, and theater in diverse artistic styles. This SAPAN Institute original production is an anthology of intricately crafted vignettes that was developed collectively by SAPAN resident artists.
With 30+ resident artists, and an extended network of talent, SAPAN represents DC's leading South Asian dancers, musicians and actors, who collaboratively strive to create innovative pieces by integrating their diverse artistic backgrounds.
Over the last 10+ years, in addition to its own productions, SAPAN has been honored to partner with establishments such as the Smithsonian, perform at notable events such as the National Cherry Blossom Festival and Intersections Arts Festival at the Atlas Performing Arts Center, and sponsor charitable shows for non-profits such as Pratham, EduGirl and HACSI.
