What can happen in a day?
Ek Din (A Day) explores the moments of a day through music, dance, and theater in diverse artistic styles. This SAPAN original production is an anthology of intricately crafted vignettes. Each piece was choreographed, arranged, and directed by SAPAN resident artists.

As nightlife gives way to stillness,
we fill the silence with sweet remembrances of love.
One More Time
Longing and remorse turns to angst, heartache, and a struggle to find closure.
In My Dreams
A love letter from the depths of the ocean to the vast skies. These two will never meet, but cannot exist without each other.
Chapter 3: Afternoon
There’s a certain slant of light in the afternoon
Chole Connection
A mother and son try to keep a family recipe alive across generations and
cultures.
Afternoon in the Park
Two strangers in a park find connection, and soon love, through music.
Clocking Out
*slams laptop shut* As the workday ends, shake off the stress of the day and let loose!
Epilogue
What Can Happen in a Day?
We dare to wonder - will today be my day?
Insomnia
As the day comes to a close, we reflect on all that has happened and wonder about all that tomorrow may bring.
Chapter 2: Morning
We blink back into our lives
Rise and Shine
At the first rays of sunlight, we start a new day with the simple rituals of village life.
Morning with You
The simple pleasure of a lazy morning shared with a loved one.
Commute
Two friends cross paths on their morning commute and celebrate the day ahead as friends join the trip to their destination.
Chapter 4: Evening
Here we are in this evening twilight
Sunset Heartbreak
As the sun slips away, longing for an unrequited love breaks through.
Touch
As the workday comes to an end, two people confront the sharp loneliness of early pandemic lockdown.
Celebration
Ek Din (One Day) is all we have. So we choose to spend that time rejoicing with our friends and family.
